MEDIHEAL holds 7 of Korea's top 100. Most brands hold one.
Korea's best-seller chart looks like a crowd — 54 different beauty brands in a top 100. Read it slot by slot and it is two markets at once: a handful of brands stacking product after product, and a long tail where most names get exactly one place. MEDIHEAL leads the stack with seven.
After several weeks of partial reads, this is the first full look at Korea's own best-seller chart in a while — and the first thing it shows is how unevenly the shelf is shared.
MEDIHEAL holds seven slots — the most of any brand
Fact. Of Olive Young Korea's top 100 best-sellers this week, MEDIHEAL holds seven slots, led by its Essential Mask Sheet at #1. Anua holds six; Torriden, Abib and CLIO five each. No other brand has more than four.
And most brands hold exactly one
Observation. Olive Young's overall chart also lists food — three snack listings this week — so we count only its 97 beauty listings. Those carry 54 different brands, and 35 of them — 65% — appear only once. Inference. Getting one product onto Korea's best-seller list is common; holding several at the same time is rare, and that is the real marker of a brand with a grip on the shelf. A single slot can be a hit. Seven is a position.
Why stacking matters
A brand with one product on the chart is exposed to one product's fate — a price change, a stock-out, a newer rival. A brand with seven is spread across formats: MEDIHEAL's slots include both a multi-pack and a single sheet of the same mask line, which is also how bundle-driven merchandising shows up on Korea's shelf. The stackers are the brands that have turned a product into a range.
